We are presently seeking a highly organized, customer focused and efficient Restoration Field and Operations Manager to join our Restoration division. The Restoration Field and Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing field operations on multiple concurrent projects across the nation and the Bahamas. Leading and mentoring field superintendents and Technicians is the primary objective. This role is responsible for ensuring field superintendents and Technicians execute projects safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer service. The Restoration Field and Operations Manager will act as a liaison between field superintendents and upper management plus provide technical expertise, training, and additional resources.
What you’ll do....
Leadership and Oversight:- Oversee all field operations renovation projects nationwide and in the Bahamas.
- Lead and mentor superintendents ensuring consistency in project execution
- Collaborate with Directors, Project Directors, Construction Managers, and other stakeholders to resolve challenges and optimize project delivery.
- Refine standard operating procedures and quality control measures across all projects.
- Review project plans, schedules, and scopes of work to ensure alignment with client expectations and company standards.
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect progress, quality, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations, ensuring a safe working environment across all job sites.
- Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations on all projects.
- Coordinate labor and equipment allocation across multiple job sites to ensure efficient resource utilization.
- Monitor project schedules adjusting as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Develop contingency plans to address potential delays or challenges
- Serve as the primary point of contact for superintendents, providing regular updates to operations and senior leadership.
- Ensure that superintendent project documents responsibilities and expense reporting meet with company guidelines and deadlines.
- Prepare and present detailed reports, including metrics on project timelines, budgets, and safety performance
What you’ll need...
- Education and Experience:
- Associate degree or bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field
- Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience, preferably working for a large general contractor and/or construction company.
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction practices, materials and methods.
- High degree of professionalism and a strong emphasis on providing excellent customer service.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritize work based upon client and team needs.
- Strong proficiency in office software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
